The note was contained in the back of the framed work and was written by her granddaughter, Adaline Benetta Shively Rusher, leaving the needlework to Adaline's son, Edward Hamilton Rusher. The death dates of Adaline's parents are also listed in the note.
  		Family Register of Johannes Schlagbach Handwritten copy of the family register and death record for Maria Eckell produced around 1871. The original would have been from about 1850.
