    2. [S259] Waybright: One Line of Descent in the Waybright Family.
"Martin Weiprecht, the only son of the deceased Johann Weiprecht, formerly a farmer and subject of the highly noble Schell family at Schonbronn, was married to Margaretha Hoffman on Friday, August_, 1715, at Crailsheim, in the Crailsheim jailor jailer's house. Martin Weiprecht I was about 26, as was Margaretha."There was something of a scandal attached. Martin Weiprecht had 'often pursued her,' presumably to [the nearby town of] Geissbuehl (now called Gaisbühl). His pursuit of her was, in a manner of speaking, successful, for she became pregnant. When she discovered that she was pregnant, they went to Crailsheim and admitted it, thus saving themselves the embarrassment of being picked up by the musqueteers (soldiers acting as police). This did not save them from paying fines to the city of Crailsheim and the villages of Geissbuehl (where she lived, apparently, with her father) and Schonbrunn (where he lived when not working at the jail in Crailsheim, presumably). As noted later, their first child, Martin (or Johann Martin), was born on December 23, 1 715, about four months or so after their marriage.
